White halter with blue shorts

  Ok, I know I’ve been wearing a lot of halter tops lately but this heat wave has been terrible!  Here I’m wearing a white halter top with tan lace.  I bought this at the Limited.  Personally, I feel like their merchandise is hit or miss.  Sometimes they carry items that have good quality while some of it isn’t so great.  Their prices are also a little high but you can get some items at a reasonable price if you either buy them on sale or clearance.  While I find this particular top pretty, this is not one of their better quality items. 

The necklace is part of an earrings and necklace set from http://www.thepinkbarn.com.  It has a faux stone with a gold tone finish. I wore it with shorts I bought at NY & Co. and the sandals I purchased at a store at the boardwalk.

I hope everybody is having a great summer.   There are just a few short weeks until the unofficial end of it… Are you ready for Autumn?

   At first glance, this looks like an ordinary halter.  However, I bought it because of the back (sorry it’s not pictured). The back has a lace section about 4″ wide by 7″ long.  I picked it up at Old Navy for $16.94 and I’m wearing a size small. The shorts are from NY & Co. but you can pretty much pick them up anywhere.  I wore this with a turquoise tassel necklace and bracelet.  If you look closely, you can see the stone on the necklace is faux marble.  Both are available at http://www.thepinkbarn.com

   With the hot weather summer brings, I love wearing outfits that keep me both cool and comfortable.  I picked up this top on sale at NY & Co. as part of their buy one, get three items for free.  (it was originally priced at $32.95 but cost less than $10 with the others!). The front has two layers: one is yellow underneath and the top is chiffon.  The layers allow me to not wear a bra underneath so it’s super comfy!  The bauble necklace and earrings are from http://www.thepinkbarn.com.  

I hope everybody has a great hump day! I plan on seeing fireworks tonight with a friend and maybe go to the boardwalk afterwards.

Blue Chiffon dress

  I am loving the summer time!  Everything’s blooming and the weather is great!  I picked up this blue chiffon dress from Charlotte Russe for $28.99.  Something that’s great about this dress is that if you feel you don’t have a, “perfect” figure it can easily hide these so called, “imperfections”.  The color is also good for either spring or summer.  I wore it with this necklace and earring set from http://www.thepinkbarn.com for $26.99. 

Lavender!

 I love this time of year when everything is blooming!  Lavender is one of my favorite colors and I wore it with a simple white top and Keds.  The pants were only $19.97 and the top was just $4.24 (if you buy 1 at the regular price of $16.95, you get 3 free).  Both the pants and t-shirt were available in a variety of colors.  All of these were bought at a NY & Co. outlet.  The tassel necklace is from http://www.thepinkbarn.com for $15.99 and the eyelet Keds were bought at Boscov’s for $24.99.
